A unique prehistoric history from the Past you can visit Today. The La Brea Tar Pits are a regsitered National Natural Landmark that define a group of tar pits around an urban Los Angeles are located on Wilshire near La Brea. An unusual Natural asphalt or Tar has seeped up from the ground in this area dating back as far as tens of thousands of years. The Tar has naturally  preserved the bones of trapped animals,many of which are considered prehistoric. The George C. Page Museum makes for an interesting visit displaying specimens from the animals that died there and is complete you can watch as scientists work in the Fossils lab. California's Drought Affects Everyone

California has been hit with several dry seasons of drought. As the number 5 largest cattle growing state, this has especially affected the local rural farmers ability to feed and water their cattle. A greater need for re-evaluation of water restrictions and questionable preservation methods ;implemented by California Politicians needs to be re-evaluated with using some common sense in order to ensure a more reliable Water Siupply System for the rural communiites and the Entire state as well.

While different from the Supermoon from 2017, the Harvest Moon got it's name assoicated with providing extra light for Framers to Harvest their crops during this cycle. The Harvest Moon is also referred to as its Traditional name,the Full Corn Moon, as found in the Farmer's Almanac. The Harvest Moon is associated with an astronomical event: the 'autumnal equinox' and can appear in late September to early October. The Harvest Moon for 2018 came between September 23-25th, depending of course, where you happened to be in the hemisphre.
